Keep South Cave Blooming, enjoy yourself, make a difference and stay fit all at once!

Our organisation relies upon the generosity of local people who willingly give their spare time and enthusiasm to keep the South Cave In Bloom wheels keep on turning.

No hard sell here, but what we are looking for are helpers, not necessarily gardeners (but some would be useful!) With so many dimensions to our organisation we will always welcome anyone who wants to help.

Here are some of the things we do, see if you might be able to join in any of them with us, (heavy stuff first!) digging, planting, watering, dead heading, planning, designing, general maintenance etc

If you'd like to work alongside some of our more experienced horticulturalists we'd be more than happy to throw in some tuition along the way (no fees!)

Or

You may wish to start a mini project.. examples are planting under signposts/street name signs (examples at Barnards Drive/Annie med Lane/Nunnery Walk) or perhaps adopting a stretch of grass verge near your home and maintaining it (example: Church Hill) as the council only maintain them to a very basic and not always sightly standard.

For non-gardeners who like our work and would like to help, we appreciate help with coffee mornings, garden fetes etc all of which help to fund the above and are just as important
